I have been using Windows 7 on my old laptop, I'm looking for best antivirus software for my laptop, any recommendation really be appreciated.

I've used the Avast free version for personal use for over 10 years without a problem on win 7 and win 10. I scan every 6 months with malwarebytes and come back clean. I'd also suggest the free version of Ccleaner to keep everything clean and running smooth. I run the registry too on ccleaner after every windows update to dump the old registry keys. You will get pop up ads from both, ever if you get the paid versions, they always have something else to sell you.

Super security on Win7 ?
Win 7 has HUGE security flaws, dont use it, upgrade to win 10
And Win10 use less resources than Win7, so dont be afraid to upgrade your old laptop

I use PCMatic it is the only program I use for Virus protection and firewall. Never had a problem since installing PCMatic.
