Win 10 Updates not working every few days

Over the last 14 days Windows Update has failed to work, also when I check installed update there are non showing up.

To get it to work again I have to use the Command Prompt in Administrator mode and run sfc /scannow
and when that has completed run

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

After running these two commands I can then check for updates and see previously installed updates

Any suggestions on how to get Updates to run correctly without having to run these two commands

Suggestion :
Run Malwarebytes and see if it finds anything. It is the best in the business.

Download Malwarebytes if you don't have it.
Pick the Free edition for now.
After installing, run the updates first, then run Scan.

I've tried Malwarebytes also Bitdefender and no Viruses found, 3 Pups found and deleted.
