Win 7 update hung up at "2 of 34"

Can't get out of the startup update page.

Kindly disregard. After 25+ minutes, it finally move on with the update install. Hope all is well...

Just a word of warning, some folks have reported files missing after the install. I may be best if you can't find some of your files after the update that you give it some time to put things back where they belong.

It appears some background processes of finalizing the install take place after you see the completion message.
