Hi! I'll try to keep this short:

It's been 2 days since I've first downloaded the media creation tool for downloading Windows 10. Though I haven't received any notifications for reservation, I made sure my laptop's up to the task.

I've the Windows 10 Setup and it doesn't download the OS files (it's always stuck on 0%), and honestly, I am getting so frustrated with exiting the setup, rebooting my laptop into safe mode, deleting folders, rebooting again, restarting download, and repeating the process! Worst of all, when my download hit 68%, it suddenly exits.

IS THERE ANY WAY TO GET THE DOWNLOAD DONE? Or could I get the OS .iso file on any file hosting site do I could know (and monitor) whether or not the download is starting! Because I've spent sleepless nights waiting for the 0% to turn into 1%.

THANK YOU!

My system:
OS: Windows 8.1 Single Language
CPU: i3 3227-U 1.9 Ghz
Gfx Card: nVidia 630M
HDD: 700 GB
RAM: 4 GB

Try this link and see if it works any better.
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/techbench

I hope so because a lot of them, apparently are not.

Please be sure to back up all your critical data before proceeding. I also recommend a system image so you at least have a good fall back position should something go wrong.

I would and have ....
Just downloaded "Windows 10"
And no, if you are upgrading from a qualified previous version of Windows (Win7 SP1 or Win8.1Update), you will not be asked for a product key.

I've stumbled upon this little reddit thread:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows10/comments/3fhrh9/download_win10_iso_from_ms_server_no_media/

It says that the only way I could upgrade to Windows 10 was through the media creation tool, or through Windows Update.

Problem is, I'm having trouble getting 10 through either methods, and I don't want to risk having to download Gigabytes of data just to end up not using it after all because of a serial key I don't seem to have :(
