Hi Guys I've just purchased an HP laptop with Win 10 ready installed, no documentation, disks or manuals, just the usual "Quick start-up" sheet. I can't make any sense of the mail app (New to Win 10) and I don't particularly want a Microsoft account. I would like to download Outlook 16 and use this instead, will that be ok?

Yes, it will be fine to install Outlook if you prefer to use that as your email client.
