Windows 10 killed my desktop

I installed windows 10 on my desktop pc it worked for two days I shut the computer off to hook up my video card. I turned it back on windows 10 starts loading says its starting an automatic repair then the whole pc shuts off. Ive tried multiple times to get it turned on with no success. My pc was working perfectly fine until that. I have no idea what to do at this point cant even restore to previous os because the os wont start.

What would happen if you "unhook" that video card ?

I tried unhook in it and connecting back to the stock vga and same thing

Windows 10 did the same thing to my desktop. I installed it on my desktop and now, when I log on, it goes to my desktop page and then starts blinking. That's all it will do. I can't access the internet or any other website. Anyone know how I can get Windows 8 back? That's what was on it before. It won't even let me access my control panel to do a system restore.
