After upgrading to Windows 10 I began tweaking some of it's features. At one point I was required to re-enter my password.
In Windows 7 I had used a password program to maintain my passwords. I had created a folder called Utilities in DOCUMENTS and that was where I kept it. So now here I am in Windows 10 and it disappears on me.
So I made use of the new Windows 10 search feature. To my horror it could not find my program, my folder or any of my saved password access. I know that one of them ended as, i.e. : password.pwa Windows 10 could not find this nor it's parent folder.
After looking around everywhere in Windows 10 I discovered it was located in: C:\Users\.........\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Utilities. (my name dotted out).
Now why couldn't Windows 10 search not find these files?
I noticed a few other searches also met the same fate!
