Windows Explorer not refreshing until pressing F5

Is there a way to get windows Explorer to refresh the view automatically when a new file is added or after renaming a file?

It does it occasionally itself but most of the time I have to press F5 to have the view updated.

Did you ever sort this out? I'm having the same issue. New folder, rename file, delete file. Most often I need to F5 to see the changes. Very annoying. Fresh W10 Pro install on Lenovo W530.

No it still is requiring the pressing of F5 to refresh. Was experiencing the same problem when running Windows 7, and hoped that it might have been fixed with an update or the newer versoins.

Had Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 on this laptop before without any issues. First time now with a fresh Windows 10 install.

Did anyone resolve this? I am having the similar problem where my desktop is not automatically refreshing.

Tried a lot of things but no luck.
