I don't seem to have access to my Yahoo contact list. When I use the People app, I can't add Yahoo to the account list, How can I get access to my contact list in Yahoo? Any suggestions? If I use my Gmail account I can't find out how to import my Yahoo contact list.

I have made a work-around to fix this problem. From my laptop, before converting to Win 10, I exported my Yahoo contact list and saved the file to a thumb drive. Then I went to my desktop where I have already upgraded to Win 10 and created an account in Outlook. Next I went into Outlook and imported the Yahoo contact (CSV format) file from my thumb drive and added the Outlook account to my Mail app. This seems to work fine when I send mail from Yahoo, I now get suggested addresses from the full contact file that I uploaded. What I don't know yet is if the contact list will be updated when I send new addressees email from my Yahoo account.

Although I solved my problem because I had access to my contact file with my pre win 10 laptop, I have now stopped using the Win10 mail app. I created a Yahoo icon and placed it on my desktop (reply above). Now I just click on the new Yahoo Mail icon and access my mail that way. Now I don't have to do any Syncing and my mail is waiting for me when ever I go to my mail. Now I have the ability to make bothersome entries Spam and I don't ever open an email if it has an attachment that I was not expecting. These two features are important to me and the security of my system. I hope this helps...Jerry
