My PC was fine until I upgraded the motherboard, RAM, and CPU. After the upgrade, I started getting a bluescreen error (Memory_Management) during heavy tasks. I ran the driver verifier, but my PC got stuck on the Windows logo upon reboot. I couldn't access the recovery environment, so I used a media creation tool to access it and attempted a startup repair, which failed.
I replaced the RAM and installed a new Windows copy on a different drive. I can see all my old files and drives, including the old system drive, but I need to repair the Windows installation on that drive. This old installation has all my files, settings, and activation, whereas the new one is like a fresh install with no drivers or applications. How can I repair the old installation so I can use it and remove the new one?
