Hey everyone. I'm having a bit of a problem with Windows update.

When I go to the Update and Security Center and click on Windows Update, the page fails to load. It just shows the 5 dots "loading animation" but never loads the page.

The Windows Update service is running, as well as the Background Intelligent Transfer service. I'm not sure if Windows Update needs other services to be running in Windows 10, but I haven't disable anything important, so I'm not sure what to do.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

Hello Don and welcome to the forum.
Elevated command prompt type
net stop wuauserv
hit enter
net stop bits
hit enter
net start bits
hit enter
net start wuauserv
hit enter
Try it again and see what happens, if that doesn't do it then use the native System File Checker and see what it finds
Elevated command prompt and type
sfc /scannow
hit enter
give it a while
See what it says
