SOLVED Help! Recover the hard drive.

Hello, I have encountered an unpleasant event. My external hard drive has stopped working. The disc is no longer readable . When I connect the disc to my computer, the system asks me to format it.

There are very important files on the disc.


Does anyone know how to help me?

Anything I could suggest would be about the external enclosure. I can’t find that model as an external but that doesn’t mean it’s not out there.

I would try it with another computer, better yet, one with a Linux operating system to see if you can access the important files. It’s unusual for a 2.5 ssd to just go bad.

I agree. Can you try a different drive in the enclosure, does not matter what. Just want to find out if the enclosure is actually the problem.

I tried to connect the disc to another PC, but to no avail(
