Windows 10 homegroup works only in one direction. On computer 2, I click on Homegroup and the usual library names appear but the accompanying icons are only blank pages. Right or left clicking on the icons does nothing. What's up?

Hi Nicola,

Welcome to the Forum.

Have you run the Shared Folder Troubleshoot tool?
  • Right-click on Start and select Settings
  • In the Windows Settings window that opens select Update & Security
  • On the left side of the Update & Security window select Troubleshoot
  • In the Troubleshoot window [ right side ] scroll down and left-click on Shared Folders then click Run the troubleshooter

I've run Shared Folders troubleshooter on both computers with the same response:Your computer appears to be correctly configured, but the device or resource (grandparents1122) is not responding. Even so, the homegoup works perfectly in one direction. Computer 1 can use documents, pictures, music, videos and printer from computer 2.
