We have a small network (less than 10 machines connected) where project files are stored on a networked drive. All but one computer can see everything on the project drive. The computer in question appears to be seeing the drive from an earlier point in time, like a snapshot of the drive as it was sometime in the past. Last week it was working fine, this week can't see the most recent additions to the drive.

Hi and welcome to our Forum.

Windows 10 has greatly improved networking, but from time to time issues like yours will pop up.

The two things I'd be checking to begin with relate directly to the computer that is unable to capture a current state of the shared folders.

  1. Check that all the required Services are running
    • DNS Client
    • Function Discovery Provider Host
    • Function Discovery Resource Publication
    • HomeGroup Provider
    • HomeGroup Listener
    • Peer Networking Grouping
    • SSDP Discovery
    • UPnP Device Host
  2. Verify the credentials have not changed or are indeed accurate. Removing the credential and reinstating it could also improve things.

Regards,
