I just installed Windows 10 over win8. The first screen I get gives me a choice of Myself or Connected Network but there is no box to put the password in. The mouse is operational and the system is continually accessing the hard drive and the wireless server but nothing I do gets me off this screen.

............The first screen I get gives me a choice of Myself or Connected Network..............

I don't recall I saw that in any of my Win 10 TP install.
Not sure the following will help, but no harrn trying:

press Ctrl + Alt + Del keys together.
will that bring you to logon screen with a password box ?

Didn't help. Ctrl-Alt-Delete takes me from the Splash Screen to the screen that gives me a choice of users - the same results as moving the cursor to the bottom of the splash screen. But still no box asking for my password on the sign in screen. Also not sure why it defaults to Connected Remote rather than to me. None of my Windows 8.1 machines shows Connected Remote as one of the signin choices.
