PDF re-open

I have a small annoying problem, after I closed a pdf with the X , it re-open after a wild. Can be a problem if it's a confidential documents

Can we assume that you're using the native app "Reader" to open these PDFs?
Are the PDFs saved locally to an internal or external hard drive or are they on network storage or on the net?
I'm attempting to duplicate the issue on my install. How long before it "re-opens"?

Personally I use a product called FoxIt Reader http://www.foxitsoftware.com/Secure_PDF_Reader/ seems to work fine on Windows 10 TP
I find that it provides a bit more utility than the native "Reader" product and less overhead than the more popular Adobe Reader software.
