When I save a picture (JPG or IMG) in a folder in Window 10 Explorer it shows up as the standard photo icon (looks like 2 mountain peeks or 2 pyramids) . If I create an ICON it shows the image of the ICON I created in the file name. The only way I can see what the image of the picture is, is to open it in the photo slide show. Is there a setting that changes the JPG .or IMG file icon to a small image of what that JPG. or IMG. file is. When I transfer pictures from my phone they usually have an image number with either an extension of IMG or JPG, and to find out what they are you have to view them thru the photo slide show. I don't remember Windows 7 explorer doing that; I may be wrong.
