The latest update of Windows 10 has locked me out of my old mail box with Yahoo. When I try to use the new Windows 10 mail box I can't find my contacts. I have tried everything but nothing works. A couple of more upgrades and I'll be shut down permanently.

Have you tried to log into Yahoo directly with a browser?
Because of the 500 million user account breach at Yahoo, they have changed somethings. You may have to reset your password at Yahoo before you actually will login and connect to your contacts.
