I am looking for some advice from anyone!
I have a file that is corrupted some how and I cannot delete it☹
When I try to interact with the file whatever program I use will totally lock up and require use of the Task Manager to exit the program. This includes Windows File Explorer and Beyond Compare by Scooter Software.
The file resides on a Western Digital MyCloud Mirror that I use to back up data. The corruption occurred during a routine back up copying the program installation file burnaware using Beyound Compare:
See the attachment for details on the file.
Result of the copy looks slightly different then the source.
The lock up occurs on Windows 10 and Windows 11.
Any thoughts or advice on how to get rid of the corrupt file is greatly appreciated!
