I have downloaded the recent update for Windows 10 Build 10041 and I have noticed that I am unable to turn on my firewall with avast, the other shields are running but for some reason that won't start, windows firewall is on according to the PC. Any thoughts?

Yes I agree with you, get rid of Avast and download 360 security from file hippo, it is free and works great!

Yes I am aware of that, problem is you have to install it. There are far superior products that are not installable and easily reversible.
