I’m having trouble updating to Windows 10 update KB5040427. I keep getting error 0x8007001e and none of the solutions I’ve tried have worked. Here’s what I’ve done so far:
Checked Disk Space: I have 190GB of free space, so that’s not the issue.
Run System File Checker: Executed sfc /scannow.
Reset Windows Update Components: Attempted a full reset.
DISM Commands: Ran DISM to repair system images.
Advanced Troubleshooting: Used built-in update troubleshooters, which found no issues.
Despite these efforts, the update still fails, and I’m starting to encounter the Blue Screen of Death. Is there anyone who has found a solution for this issue? I’m at my wits’ end and need help to resolve it.
