I'm running Win10 latest update. I can zoom my entire screen in and out by holding the CTRL key and using the mouse scroll wheel to zoom in and out. I frequently use this to make things easier to read. I don't know what this feature is part of. Probably the Windows OS. The feature works fine in most if not all of the software I use on my PC with one exception. I have a program called Family Tree Maker. The zoom feature does not work on the screens in this program. How can I make the zoom feature work for this program?

It happens because Family Tree maker does not allow the functionality of Zooming using the Ctrl button and Mouse scroll.
To zoom in Family Tree maker, to zoom use:

When you create a Relationship chart you will have the following options instead for your Chart Preview:

  1. Image
This Hand Tool icon allows you to grab and drag the document to move the page around.
  2. This option
    Image
allows you to choose the zoom level of your chart. Click on the arrow to select a zoom percentage, or type a number in the box.
  3. Image
These icons allow you to zoom in and out.
  4. Image
These arrows allow you to navigate to different pages of the document.
I got this on their support page.
