SOLVED Apologies if my question is in the wrong place, stupid, or offensive

I'm running windows 10 and occasionally my machine will blow up, either from a plague or possibly viruses, or some sort of voodoo I don't understand. So I need to reinstall my windows from time to time and I want to be able to reinstall it with all the programs already installed, & drivers etc. and of course what ever up updates I had recently. I found an old thread on slipstreams. (20170) I don't know if this falls in that realm or if this called a back up disk? When I have 20 programs installed it would be nice to be able to wholesale put everything back where it belongs. My question is how do I set up a disk like this? Thank you
