SOLVED Autoscroll unstoppable

Entering Settings - whatever I choose, the right panel autoscrolls to the bottom. Since I can't stop this (started a week ago), there's no possibility of ever changing any setting any longer - unless it's right down there at the end of the list. Same problem with the left panel of Explorer ... all the time, down it goes. Some users has been helped by changing settings in the "Colours"-panel, but my settings there are as they are supposed to be according to all instructions. And more - when zooming, it won't stay at the selected value, but automatically moves to whatever it wants. And no --- Restore won't help either.

Told a friend of my problem, and he then told me to take my computers tiny usb-transmitter (for my cordless mouse) and replace it with another one of the same kind. And, well, it worked!
