HP Designjet 1050C Issue

We have a HP Design Jet 1050C Plotter since installing the latest Windows 10 Build 2004 19041.329

Any print jobs just spool and the job just stays in the queue and doesnt do anything.

After doing some testing I have discovered that if i print to the same plotter running Windows 10 1903 build it will print fine.

Has anyone come across this before or a similiar issue, Does anyone know of any drivers that work with the latest windows 10 build.

If someone could please advise and any help given I would be very grateful

Hi Helpdesk,

have you downloaded the latest drivers for your printer from HP?. I have an HP printer and I have found that switching it off then back on again seems to solve the problem you describe!. :)

Sometimes when a new feature upgrade is released and the upgrade path is followed....some drivers get corrupted and the same for some software. In these instances a uninstall and reinstall of problematic driver and or software will fix the issue. It's not the ideal fix but it works.

Over the weekend I worked with a Brother Inkjet that worked except for putting text on the paper, so far I've only read the problem showed up with Brother, Canon, Panasonic and Ricoh printers but maybe there's others.

I got the fix from Microsoft Update Catalog, probably was KB4557957 but can't remember and won't be back to the lady's machine for awhile.
