I only got to sit in it once or twice. The PDP8 came mounted on a sort of table/desk, perhaps the power supplies were i the bottom. The chair was one of those sort of egg shaped things in black vinyl.

Ah. I never worked on DEC stuff, my first business machine was an IBM 4381 mainframe. You didn't get a chair with one of those!
