I've been experiencing an issue for the past 3 days where my USB devices keep disconnecting and reconnecting while playing games or when my PC is under heavy load, which causes significant lag in my games.
I’ve tried unplugging everything except for my mouse and keyboard, connecting them directly to the motherboard, and using different USB ports, but the issue persists. I’ve also deleted and reinstalled USB drivers, performed a fresh Windows install, and updated all drivers through Windows Update, my motherboard manufacturer, and NVIDIA. Additionally, I’ve updated my BIOS to the latest version and checked all hardware connections to ensure everything is plugged in correctly.
My system setup:
ASUS X570 Pro motherboard
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
RTX 3070
32 GB RAM 3600 MHz
I'm running Windows 10, and despite these efforts, the problem continues. Any suggestions on how to resolve this?
