Upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10: Unable to Keep Programs

Hello! I'm trying to upgrade my laptop to Windows 10, but when prompted to choose whether to keep files and programs, only files, or nothing, it only lets me keep the files. I get a message saying I cannot keep the installed programs because the edition of Windows I'm installing is different from the one I'm using.

Currently, I'm trying to install the latest version of Windows 10 on my laptop, which has Windows 7 Ultimate.

Could someone help me resolve this? I have many programs installed that I use for work and would like to keep them.
