While this is still an Insider Preview Build and no doubt subject to change, it is apparently what they intend to go with for the November Public Release.
Hello Windows Insiders!

We are preparing the Windows 10 November 2021 Update (Windows 10, version 21H2) for release. We believe that Build 19044.1288 is the final build for the November 2021 Update, and the ISO for this build can be downloaded here.

The link for the ISO as a Release Preview Channel release is a pretty positive indicator.

As it is likely going to be "the" public release, I purposely didn't put this thread into the Insider Preview Sub-Forum and placed it in the "News" sub-forum instead.

no doubt subject to change
Interesting....
So, I popped my primary machine over to the insider program (release preview channel), to see what might be in store for all of us come November and Lo'N'Behold, instead of getting 19044.1288, I ended up getting this....

I noted and in fact expected it would change, I just didn't think it would change within an hour or so.

So you think Nov for general release?
They pretty much said as much in their quote I captured above, but....
Getting a "the sky is blue, full stop" out of a microsoft statement is like grabbing smoke out of the air.... frustrating and unrewarding.
BUT
IF I was looking to do a custom clean install of 21H2, that would be the ISO I would use.

I'm on 19043.1288 and Windows Update says I'm up to date.

So you think Nov for general release?
19043.1288 is the latest public release for 21H1. MS is currently offering the 19044.1288 ISO to the Insiders. I will check if it really is what they say it is. This has not always been the case

Well, the 19044.1288 is actually what they say it is but why it says 19041 does not compute somehow although the build # is correct.

I also popped in my Insider preview drive in the machine and I am getting the 19044.1319 as well (KB5006738) as Cumulative update preview
