Error message pops up upon opening my laptop, can’t upload the imagine as it’s too large. It says the following

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\amsi.doll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your System administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0x000012f.

I suppose the first thing we should sort out is the file extension.
Four character file extensions are unusual so....
Can we assume that, that is a typo?
And your question is actually about amsi.dll
