Can’t log in to Minecraft because of Windows Hello PIN

I've been trying to log into my Minecraft account for hours, but I'm blocked by the Windows Hello PIN. I had a PIN on my old laptop, but it has been reset, and I don't remember it. I'm using my partner's PC, so I logged into my account and was prompted to create a new PIN. I did that, but it didn't work for Minecraft. I then removed the PIN altogether, but it still didn't work. I've tried restarting the PC, uninstalling and reinstalling the launcher, and nothing is working. Please help.

I'm not a gamer but will say that logging into Windows with a password or PIN is different from later logging into a program that requires a password or PIN and frequently will be different from the Windows log-in. And sometimes programs are single-user, can't be used at the same time by 2 or more.
