'Current PC name' vs 'machine name' vs 'computer name' ?

Hello;
New computer setup , 'Current PC name' vs 'machine name' vs 'computer name' vs 'device name' ?
Are these all the same ?
And after entering one of the above ,
will setup then ask for user name ?

User name is a MS account name you would use to sign in to windows. Or a local account with just a user name. This is different from the above question.


I use a MS account (that is a MS email address - example (e-mail address removed)). Then the OS names the PC with some algorithm with letters and numbers. Than I change that to something I like, in my case, this is an Intel build. So I named it Intel Z97. Then I rename the C drive to; Windows 10 Pro or what ever the OS actually is.
