I’ve tried to install update KB5041580 eight times over the past two days, but I keep encountering error code 0x80073712.
I’ve run the Troubleshooter and used DISM.exe commands (/ScanHealth and /RestoreHealth). Both showed no component store corruption and reported that the restore operation completed successfully. However, the update still fails with the same error code.
I also ran the Windows Update Troubleshooter, which mentioned it made some changes to the system, but even after that, I still get the same error.
I’m running Windows 10, version 22H2, with OS Build 19045.4717, installed on 5/30/2024, and the Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19060.1000.0.
Is there a way to identify which update files are missing or have issues? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
