PowerISO flagged as PUA??

well, I realize this thread is old, but an unwanted app is nothing to be concerned about as long as you installed it and you know it’s safe. It can’t hurt the system at all. A dangerous app will be flagged as one. This is merely for older seniors who are not as capable with a computer as they used to be and may complain when they get pop ups or slow performance. A Potentially Unwanted Application (PUA) in Windows is software that may negatively affect system performance, display unwanted ads, or install additional software without user consent. While not classified as malware, PUAs can still pose risks to user security and privacy. Hope that clarifies.

That wouldn't be an issue if MS didn't actively delete those application executive. Not only do they flag the files. They delete them.
Agreed. That is why I have allowed this app on my computers by creating an exemption. I even had send the file to MS in order to add to the AV definitions as safe. They never did

I’ve never had them delete mine unless I allow them to. It asks first. Also you can turn that completely off so that it doesn’t even alert you of “pua”
