Sound Stutter

Hello, I'm experiencing sound stuttering on my windows 10 pc. I've had a look at different solutions - updating the audio and device drivers/ reinstalling them, I've installed and updated realtek, I've also disabled audio enhancements and tried with different sound formats and still nothing has improved. Is there a way to fix this? Everything I've found so far that says it'll fix hasn't yet worked.

right click on the speaker icon click "sounds" in this sound properties check that the playback and recording settings are correct.
You can disable each setting in recording just to check that a recording setting may be causing the sound problem
