The Windows Key I Purchased Isn't Compatible with My PC's Windows

I recently bought a PC that came installed with Windows 10 Pro a few months ago. However, a few days ago, I started receiving a pop-up message stating, "Your Windows license will expire soon." so I purchased a Windows 10 Pro activation key for my PC, which already has Windows 10 Pro installed. Unfortunately, when I attempted to use the key, it didn't work. When I clicked on the "Change product key" button, it displayed the message: "The last product key (ID: xxxxx-00000-00000-xxxx) you entered can't be used on this copy of Windows. (0x803FA067)." I'm not sure if this message appeared after I attempted to use the activation key I purchased, as I had previously tried other activation keys I found online.
