Unable to Format SSD

I'm encountering difficulty formatting my SSD. Although I can see it in Device Manager, I'm unable to access it in File Explorer. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The reason why you cannot see your SSD in File explorer is most likely it has not been assigned a drive letter yet. Go to the Disk manager and assign a drive letter there. You also will be able to format it from there.

I’d open Disk Management and see if the drive shows up as unallocated. If it does, I’d give it a new partition and quick format. Running diskpart clean can help too.

Thanks for your input but as the thread is almost 2 years old I suspect the op has their solution. by now.
