My Win 7 successfully upgraded to Windows 10. however, Win Patrol keeps asking me to accept the same two new programs. I installed it in 2011 (It worked great on Win7) but when I try to upgrade to a newer version, Win 10 rejects it as unsafe and will not let me proceed.

Am I better off uninstalling WinPatrol?

I personally have no experience with WinPatrol, I do know that a lot of people seem to like it.
Maybe your question might be better addressed on their community forum to see if any of their resident experts has a suggestion that might help you with your problem.

IF.... you decide to go the uninstall route then perhaps you might want to first read the two posts by Corrine here http://www.landzdown.com/how-to's-tips-information/completely-uninstall-and-reinstall-winpatrol/

I took a chance and deleted Win Patrol (which I love) and then it let me install the newest version with no problems.

So, If you have upgraded to 10 and have an older version of Win Patrol that is giving you problems, delete it first, and then install the newest version.
