Creators update 1703; when I type "winver" in Windows search or run command dialog box all that comes up is a pop up that just says Windows 10 in the title, no information, just a blank window. I this normal with creator update?

It does work if I go the Settings route? Settings > System > About and it displays all the system info normally as "winver" should.

This is what I get typing Winver in the Start search box of Classic Shell. Using Cortana gives the same.

Update the problem is with the local User account. Local PC Admin group "winver" opens as it should.

Hi all,

update KB4034674 showed up this morning (9.8.17) here in Germany!.

Yesterday (8.8.17) it was KB4032188, both are cumulative updates!.

I'll update the next major release, that should be update enough. It's enough for me. I don't want my system updating every week anyway.

I'm baffled, but that's not difficult with Windows 10. The strange thing is that today "winver" operates by typing in the windows search dialog box. Must have been some kind of glitch ?
Seems to be how Windows operates these days.
