Log in to Windows 10 Automatically

Log in to Windows 10 Automatically

It is possible to log in to Windows 10 without needing to enter your password, although this isn't recommended (for obvious security reasons!). However, there are some cases where users are in an environment where this isn't a problem and it would be easier to simply turn on the PC and skip straight to the desktop without needing a password.

To get started, press Windows Key + R and type in netplwiz then click OK:

The user accounts window will open, whereby you can uncheck the box marked "Users must enter a username and password to use this computer", then click OK:

You'll then be prompted to enter your password twice, which is then saved for when you need to log on:

If you only have one user account, you'll log in to Windows 10 automatically the next time you reboot. If you have more than one user account, you can simply click on the user you'd like to log in as without entering a password.
