Acts up when woken from sleep

I was having a hard time when I woke it from sleep, where I got the error message, your Nvidia drivers were not responding, reloaded drivers.
Now that seems to be less of a problem now, but now , sometimes when it wakes from sleep, all the bottom task bar icons are unresponsive, and clicking any icon causes nothing to happen.. I have to restart to bring it back to normal again.
