Audacity/ Windows 10 kills audio devices

When I have opened a file in Audacity, I get an error message "Error while opening sound device. Please check the output device settings and the project sample rate."
Everything else works, only when I try to play the audio file, that's the error message that I get.
When I check the audio devices on the computer they are all working properly.

Hmmm...I just used Audacity this morning and it worked fine,did you select your preferred audio device in the setting in Audacity?Make sure that your default audio device your computer is using and the one you are using in Audacity are the same,aside from that I have no idea what the problem could be..my apologies.
