Blue Screen - Clock Watchdog Timeout Error when starting games

I keep getting a Blue Screen with a "Clock Watchdog Timeout" error every time I try to start a game. The computer runs fine for other tasks, but as soon as I enter a game, the fan speeds up and eventually, the blue screen appears.

Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks!
