Driver for my Windows tablet battery

I'm using a Windows tablet from Alcatel and my Windows 10 isn't detecting the battery. The AC adapter is recognized, but there's no battery driver. The Device Manager shows no unknown devices and no hardware changes.

A few things worth knowing, how old is the tablet, is it the original battery or a replacement, does it work if the AC is unplugged, does it have a BIOS setting for the battery? The operating system reads the BIOS so as to know what resources it has to work with.
