I'm having trouble logging into the Minecraft Launcher on PC. When I click "login to Microsoft," it opens an Xbox popup, but then I receive another popup message stating, "GamingServicesTcui.exe has stopped working." When I try to close the program, the Xbox popup displays, "We couldn't sign you in to Xbox Live," along with the error code (0x89235107). After clicking OK the launcher gives me the same error code, indicating it couldn't log me in.

My system runs on Windows 10 Home 22H2. Thank you for your help!

Hi @goodfellasmenkaroats

The error with GamingServicesTcui.exe can be related to corrupted Gaming Services or Xbox app components. Here's what you can try to fix it:

  1. Repair or Reset Gaming Services and Xbox App:
    • Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features.
    • Scroll down and find "Gaming Services." Click on it and select "Advanced options."
    • Click "Repair." If that doesn’t work, try "Reset."
    • Repeat the same steps for the Xbox app.
  2. Reinstall Gaming Services:
    • Open PowerShell as an administrator by right-clicking the Start button and selecting "Windows PowerShell (Admin)."
    • Enter the following command to remove Gaming Services:
      get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers
    • Then enter the following command to reinstall Gaming Services:
      start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN
    • This will open the Microsoft Store to the Gaming Services page. Click "Install."
  3. Update Windows:
    • Make sure your system is fully updated. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates.
  4. Check Xbox Live Services:
    • Sometimes Xbox Live services can be down. Check the Xbox Live service status page to make sure everything is running smoothly.
  5. Reinstall the Minecraft Launcher:
    • Uninstall the Minecraft Launcher.
    • Go to the official Minecraft website and download the latest version of the launcher, then reinstall it.
Try these steps and see if they resolve the issue. Let me know how it goes!
