That's not all that rare, I've seen it a couple times myself.
It always seemed to resolve itself after a couple shutdowns (all the way down, not restart, not hibernate, not sleep, not hybrid sleep), and subsequent restarts.
If that doesn't seem to help you could always try the native Windows Update troubleshooter
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Troubleshooting\All Categories (view all in left column)
