Over Christmas I ran a slide show of all my photo's on my computer and at the same time played all my music, using windows 7 of course. Can you do that on windows 10?

Sure, go to Settings/Personalization/Background. Select Slideshow in the box. Browse for Pictures and pick a folder or all the pictures. I create a New folder and select the photos I want for a custom slideshow which go in there.
For music. Go to the music folder and highlight the music you want to play then right click on any spot in the highlighted area and select play. It will all play. You can create a custom folder and highlight the entire contents and play all of that too.
You need to download a player. I have Windows Media Player but I down loaded one I like better. It was suggested by a forum member (Biff, thanks Biff). It is Daum Potplayer. Here is a link.
