Memorial Day here in the U.S. is a time and date we set aside to pay our respects to those men and women of our Armed Services who made the Ultimate Sacrifice to keep us safe.

All gave some. Some gave all.

The totals at the bottom do not reflect all those lost at sea. Those that were lost in the North Atlantic when the ships transporting them and others were sunk. That is another 3,000 plus all those lost in the Pacific ocean, islands, etc.


Memorial Day is coming. So many of our country men own never made it home........

While I'm not a fan of war, I do appreciate the sacrifices made by many for our benefit.

Rest in peace to the fallen. For those still fighting or retired, be safe and well.

I don't think any sane person is a fan of war but sadly; there are those on this planet that force allied armed forces to take action against them, which equally sadly, leads to the loss of innocent lives and suffering among the families and friends of those lost in battle!.
