SOLVED Preview option showing on right hand side of usb

When I save files to my usb then click one I wish to look at, the Preview option comes on the right hand side. Can I delete this please.

It probably is File Explorer remembering the view the previous time the contents were viewed. I'd reset it to as desired then try again later.

Many thanks, but what do you mean by 'reset it to as desired then try again'? Where do I find that please?

'reset it to as desired then try again'

Reset would mean to get the display as you desire then properly remove the USB drive, plug into maybe a different port and see if you get the display view as you desire it. It's easy to do but quite hard to do remotely unless having access into the computer.

In File Manager, select View, deselect Preview pane
