Problem with search results

Can anyone help me please. It is said that W10 is great when it comes to searching files, etc. However, I have a problem with RETURNING TO SEARCH RESULTS. I type in the search box (there are like 60 entries), I open the file, and then I want to return to search results and they are gone!!! So I have to search again. Am i doing something wrong?
